Float Collar and Float Shoe
The PetroQuip Float Collar serves as a back-up to the floats in the Float Shoe while providing a landing spot for the wiper plugs. The float collar provides a landing point for the casing wiper plugs, whose function it is to clean (wipe) the casing clean.
The PetroQuip Float Shoe is the first part of the casing string to go downhole. Its rounded end guides the casing string as it is pushed downhole. The internal check prevents the wellbore fluids from entering the casing while run-in and keeps the cement from U-tubing during the cement job.
A dual poppet check valve is optional on either tool, with a single poppet as standard equipment.
